BIOGRAPHY
I started God’s Gift for Music in 2012 while I was volunteer directing music at St. Anthony Marie de Claret in Kyle, Texas. As self entitled as the name of the company sounds, it is actually the complete opposite. The best way I can describe it is, God has given us all different gifts and talents, and I use my gift for music along with many others that come together with me as we create that beautiful memorable music. My mission is to engage and inspire everyone with wonderful church hymns that will leave a lasting memory for funeral/memorial and wedding services.
I’ve been in the liturgical music ministry since 2009 all over Central and South Texas, performing at churches during my beginning years of college in Houston and San Marcos—Buda—Kyle, Texas. I’ve performed at many churches in my hometown Austin, Texas and directed choir at St. Catherine of Siena for two years ending in 2020.
I was a self-taught musician during my beginning stages of learning. In May 2019 I completed my Associate of Arts in Music with emphasis in composition at Austin Community College. I returned in the Fall of 2020 to continue my Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition and Theory at Concordia University and studied for one year. In the end, my final decision was to pursue my own music and focus on piano, hymnody and eastern pentatonic music.
God’s Gift for Music is currently serving the Austin Metropolitan and surrounding areas. We have a wonderful group of talented musicians that I know you’ll love.
